X2 most valves have coils available for DC, AC, different voltages, whatever.

You would need a push-pull converter which is an inverter coupled with a transformer and a rectifier. So not real efficient to go from DC to AC, step up the voltage and then rectify back to DC

There is no good way to charge 2 twelve volt batteries in series from a single 12 volt source. That was done back in the day for the starter only by using a series/parallel switch. As soon as the 24 volt starter dropped out, the relay connected everything else back to 12 volts with the batteries in series. Not at all like your situation.
