Subject: question about a Kniepco heater

St.Clair Co. IL.
I have a old kneipco torpedo heater, I haven't used it in quit a few yrs. dug it out of the shop when I was cleaning it out, I took it out cleaned it up cleaned the fuel filters, fixed wires the mice ate up, flushed out the tank put some fuel in it and plugged it in, wow it fired up and ran better than I remember it, only thing is it makes a popping sound, the sound like it makes when you first start it up, it don't smoke but it makes that popping sound and spits a little extra flame out the front when it does it,not sure if it will hurt but I don't remember it doing that before, TIA Bob
