Using resistors kind of defeats the purpose. You are going to end up with just as much amp draw as you had before.
Defeats what purpose? His purpose was a brighter light that lasts longer.
Adding resistors is STUPID!!!! Just replace the flasher unit and leave the wires alone. Why do extra work when the proper parts are available for a reasonable price.
