NW KS/ SC ID | we will let Indiana Jones chime in, but there are certain years of 4L80E that wont interchange. behind the 6.5L diesel, the 92 and 93 are one group, 94 anf 95 another, and I "think" 96+ interchanges. but that is 4L80E, IDK about 4L60E.
I know over on www.fullsizechevy.com there are a few guys that have put 4L80Es in place of their 4L60Es, it is not a plug in and go deal, but it isnt too bad to make it work.
OBD-I is 1995 and older,
OBD-II us 1996 and newer
