I have one and it's ok if you are cutting on the low side but if you have the saw fully extended and trying to reach as high as you can then it's not good. I know what you mean with hurting the back but if you are cutting high (as in high enough to get tractors and such under) I wouldn't get it. If it wouldn't cost so much to ship it I would take 1/2 price for mine and only been used twice
