Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

durallymax - 2/3/2014 22:22 Early or late 04? Early would be the MBN single turbo motor, not as good as the 6NZ but better than an ACERT. Late 04 would be an MXS ACERT, not as bad as later ACERTs but more things to go wrong. Many people have mixed feelings on the ACERT, mostly depends on whether or not theirs has cost them a lot of money or not.

Late 2004 ACERT, is actually BXS serial number prefix = first serial number for VVAs, it was just one year and VVA housing and jakes housings are separate.(This makes BXS a little bit of an odd duck

In the later, MXS engine, the VVAs and engine retarder(jakes) are built into one housing, then NXS was next serial number prefix, when they ran out of MXS(above MXS99999
