When you push the pedals there is a delay for about 3 seconds until they engage. Like it loses a "prime" if you will. If you apply the brakes again within a couple minutes they work fine. But if you wait for 10+ minutes you get the delay again. When they work they work well and grab nicely. The mechanic at the big Case IH shop says it sounds like the "plates are warped" or the piston has leaking seals. Both of which I have to take the axle housing off to get to. Although I have done a lot of work to these magnums, I have never fooled with the brakes, so this is new territory for me.
