Like all char cross calves they will grow. Might not have much hip because of the longhorn, but you should be able to buy them far enough back so that won't hurt you. Three inch horns are nothing. A set of bypass loppers will clean them right up. At that size really no need in burning them unless you just want to keep the blood off your pens. Whack them off and turn them out. They'll stop bleeding in less than fifteen minutes and won't lose half a cup of blood.
