southern MN		I pick some corn, and I'd not want to do 500 acres....

40 acres is a lot to do with a 2 row pull type.

Back in the day they said a 2 row combine was good up to 400 acres.

4 row was good for 700.

People harvesting 2-300 acres around me have JD 9500 and 9600 combines these days, no one wants to work at harvest any more....
