Picked ear corn till the early 80's had a mounted picker to open field and break the lands, Allis 190 with stripper bars, didn't shell, but had a no capacity husking bed, rest was picked with a 324 New Idea pull type with 12 roll bed, it would average 25 acres a day in 155-160 bu corn. 930 Case on the picker with speed up on the elevator, and 5 barge boxes, and that was in between morning and night chores, 2 people working.
