NW MN | In my opinion from what I can see, I would build it on the s side. Maybe keep the building to the north but get rid of the rest. I would stay away from the bins. Maybe you will want to expand your bin site area one day? In your shop layout, I would want access to the cold storage through the shop with out pulling equipment outside. A large door separating them maybe? Have you ever thought about going wider? I know in our area w heavy snow loads there are a lot of 80'-90' wide post frame buildings going up. What about building a lean to addition off the shop for office space? Most shops around here go for overhead doors for the speed going up and down(heat loss bringing stuff in). One big door on the end and one smaller one on the Side for pickups. Then another large bifold or slider on the cold storage end. Just my opinions. Cool subject! | |
