Oregon | I'm no fan of the safety police, so feel free to completely ignore me- but it just never seems like a good idea to land the ladder in front of the rear tire. I know, the Massey's were that way after the 510 and if you pay attention, it is no big deal. But someone is always jumping on and off checking loss and changing settings and delivering food / beer on the go. Harvest is stressful enough for most operations, no point in placing people in the path of the rear tire if you don't have to.
The flip side is that maybe you stop for everything and everyone and so it isn't much of a concern.
