| We have never owned a sprayer and thinking it is time to add one to the operation. Definitely want SP and will be spraying approx. 5000 ac/year. I have searched a lot of old posts on this topic, but most are move geared toward pros/cons between 2 different machines. We have no experience with any sprayer so I'm completely unbiased, just want the best bang for the buck. Would like to stay under $50k which will limited choices. Everything on our farm is green, but i've done a lot of searching and dont see where a 4700/4710 fits in the budget (maybe a few high houred machines out there). Alot of our ground is terraced and gets hilly in spots, so HP and reliable hydro's are important. And high crop capability is a must, which seems to cancel out the older Deere's. Appreciate any suggestions and pros/cons on machines that fit the bill. Thanks, JH | |
