Bought a FW-30 two years ago with only 4185 hours still has 4185 hours and it has covered about 2000 acres since.  He sure was willing to point out it had less than 4200 hours.  Not only does the hour meter not work boy was he good at cleaning up all the oil leaks.  I do plan to change the meter so I can keep track of the hours myself.  Ohh well  it has served me well so far.
