Mid-Michigan
We have foliar fed soybeans several times in side by side comparisons according to the recommendations of a large liquid fertilizer manufacturer near us. Our soil tests are usually in the good to high range and pH is always good. The beans always look better and have yielded better but rarely covered my cost. I think early tissue sampling and applying micros according to your test may be better money spent. I have been working harder on trying to improve the organic matter in my soils (and better overall soil health) which seems to be paying better dividends for me. Of course what works for me may not work for you. Good luck.
