Subject: Water Reels

I have a couple of irregularly shaped small fields that seem to be have a nice set-up for water reels. 225 GPM wells are available and there is about 30 acres that could be covered.

I am looking at a Kifco T30/980, but having a problem pulling the triggeron buying or taking the final plunge into making a purchase. Salesman tells me they do not get complaints on the equipment, but that is what I would expect him to say. Just seems like it would be hard to operate. For instance, do you have to pretty much watch them all the time while they are reeling the cart/gun back to the reel? Do they tip over a lot? Do the hoses wind up nicely? Other problems?

Could anyone comment on their experience with larger water reel equipment?

Thanks in advance.
