If people are replacing regular drawbars with these you would think there is a pile of them somewhere. But here in Montana our choices are limited.

So, I can buy an adapter for $700 - $1200, or buy a new drawbar. I can't imagine a drawbar would cost more than $1200. We will never pull a scrape with it.

A lot of scraper tractors come from the factory with a pan hitch or no hitch at all and the dealer installs them. Ours was that way. Has a support that would only work with a pan hitch. So that needs to be swapped out and then a ag drawbar installed. When I checked on parts prices the entire setup was something like $6,000. We opted for the $1200 adapter.

For your tractor I'd imagine there's a few burned or salvage ones around to find a drawbar. The adapters are nice though. Ours had to be hammered into place as it fit so tight and years later its still just as tight. We are flirting with the idea of buying a train of pans and already have the tractor end ready to go.
