I'm guessing Rick will talk on water holding capacity and infiltration testing?
We did this,and alot of the soil quality testin on my farm last summer......gotta say, I was impressed and a few shocked when my corn on corn Striptill.......equalled or bested.....native praire?
The middle picture I think is where they drove a 6"pipe in the ground......and measured infiltration....
