No flames from me. Did the same thing. I still have the sp, but I run the pt 90% of the time and will likely be 100% by next year. But I pull mine with a cheap truck. Here's my skinny tired sprayer. 1,500 gal, 120' and 60' at first fold with valving to spray at 60'. I had to spray fungicide last week on some spring wheat that I had already made pseudo tramlines in with the 132' sprayer. So rather than make new runs with the 120', I just hooked up tot he 132' and went at it. Here's a video of it. After seeing my setup last year, a freind from eastern Oregon called the other evening to ask opinions about buying a pt to pull behind his floater truck Loral. He plans to load the 1,600 gal on the Loral, and a 1,600 gal sprayer and either connect them for equal pull down, or transfer from the truck to the sprayer when the sprayer runs low. Load time is a killer for him as he is in a windy area. |
