| Sounds like you need to invest in a rock rake more than a discbine... I've got some of those fields too. The only thing I find that doesn't take as much damage is the old Kuhn GMD77HD or it's variants based on paint color. It seems light enough that it jumps over most of the rocks that stay in place or bats the rest out of the way. In over 20 years I think we replaced mabey 3 discs. A LOT of blades tho. I just find it a lot less trouble to use that mower on the rough ground and save the discbine for the more manageable fields.
If I was buying new... it would be a Kuhn mower. Period.
