southern ohio | It's a 7000 12 row bought it this winter so its the first year for it. it does not do it the same time on all rows. I have precision meters. took them to my local deere dealer put new precision belts and brushes in them before I started. Checked every chain they all look good. Had 2 people watch the shafts while I planted. Could it find a chain or shaft jump or jerk. Trying to plant 33000 at 4.5 mph I've done it with my six row and it planted a lot better than this. I can see a double or skip every now and then but it's doing this 10 times in 20 feet. Is it possible that the meters are too tight? Took a boxoff this evening and I can barely turnit by hand!(with seed in it) A couple got so tight that I couldn't turn them. | |
