Faunsdale, AL | What population are you trying to hit? If you're planting on 30 inch rows and trying to hit 35,000 then I expect the meters are metering the seed properly (1 seed for every 6 inches) and for some reason they are getting hung up in the seed tubes or somewhere.
The only way I can see you should ALWAYS get 2 seed together is if you're getting doubles because of the wrong plate for the seed etc, but then your population setting would have to be more like 17,500 unless there is something wrong with the drive like everyone is guessing. | |
