Subject: Re: Possible Case IH 1200 sensor issues?

I've seen the same issue on a 1240 couple years back. The row planted fine around the hill leaning down to the left. Comming back leaning down to the right, the sensor showed very low and eratic. Wound up being the sensor lens was partially covered by seed treatment and graphite. Cleaned the lenses and everthing returned to normal. The problen is the sensor is recessed in the seed tube, so just running a brush up and down the tube does almost nothing to wipe on the lenses. You might be able to insert the brush and rotate in both directions to clean, but more than likely will need to remove the seed tube and cut the tie straps holding the sensor on and clean that way.
