Subject: onion farmer (or others with MF 4880) hitch question

My 4880  with  20.8  tires   has a  hitch height of  20 inches.     If  I can't get my  disk to  level,  would it  be possible to  flip the  clevis  over on the drawbar,  so it would be  underneath?  (giving  me a  drawbar height of  16 inches?)    I realize  anything is  'possible',  but   ALL  weight on  tongue is  transmitted  to  just those 2  attaching bolts!    I'm in the process of  rebuilding this  disk,  new blades,  and   the  leveling system  needs work!  (springs are  smashed and broken)    When  this is  done,   I might have to reconsider the  tractor's  hitch height!    Anyone know the  recommended  hitch height of a  Krause  1976   disk?
  Thanks
