nebraska | I just have to do a little venting here. I have 11 pivots 3 of them are zimmatics and I have ran them for 20 years. The rest of them are reinke systems. These zimmatics are the biggest pain in my @$%^^. Every single year I am fixing and messing with these dam things. I have one that only will run forward and the other one the hired man ran dry and the end tower is coming around on it. I can only think of one service call on my reinke machines of the same age. besides tires. I read all these post on what pivot or tractor is the best and you should buy on service. I really beleive that! In the case of Pivots I am of the opion that zimmatic is the biggest piece of junk out there. Some of these reinkes replaced valleys and I think they are a good system but the zimmatics I really do not know if I would rent a farm with one on it. | |
