JD 2630 locking up after AB curves

Subject: JD 2630 locking up after AB curves


WC MN		I was told that if you select AB CURVES or create one on the 2630 with new version will lock up and you lose all your data. I use AB curves quite a bit but luckily haven't had to use one yet so far this year. Has anyone else hear of this or no a fix so I can prevent this?

NESD		There was new software released last week to fix this issue, talk to your dealer.

WC MN		Ha! That would require my dealer to have a clue. Do you know if I have to reload the RX files and all the other goodies after this update? Do you also know if it will affect the 20/20 like the last one did?

NW Iowa		I'm not sure what the version is, but my AMS tech had to come out and do the update. He said it wasn't available from stellar or the GS Live Update yet. As stated earlier, it was just released a couple weeks ago.

scks		I have the Feb update on a flash drive-haven't installed it yet for this very reason. Why is the dealer necessary for this? Just put up a different version on Stellar,we can download, end of story. Besides,I can probably do it in half the time.

MN		Used AB Curves last week and worked fine, I believe it was adaptive curves that was giving fits. Dealer installed the update Friday and haven't had a chance to use it since.

MN		dealer called me on friday asking me to check our recently updated displays... new update must be less than 2 weeks old because that's when i had them install the feb updates...also only update for 2630's is what was told.. update is not on stellar cause i looked and compared version #'s to what i had before i called dealer back.. i'm taking my 2630 in tomorrow and will ask more about it..

3.16.2000 is the update addressing the issue it's not the one on stellar. Tell your dealer to look up DTAC solution 95431 and they will be able to get it from there. They shouldn't have to come out. Just have them throw it on a jump drive for you to pick up.
