Subject: Field IQ implement switch problem

I'm running field IQ on FMX for true count row clutches on corn planter. Only running row clutches not any rate control. Tried a dry run this afternoon want to start planting 2morrow. Problem is when I lift the planter it still paints on screen like I'm planting. I have implement switch that should shut it off when I lift but it still paints. Tested the implement switch with electrical tester and it seems to be working. So it seems that I either have something set wrong or am forgetting something since last year when it worked fine. I have the field IQ switch on Auto and section switch to the right in middle where it shows like its spraying. When I flip that switch up and down it will turn paint on and off. Also row clutches shut off normal when I overlap.

Any ideas on why my implement switch wont turn coverage off? I hope its just that Im forgetting something. Thanks

How do you recalibrate? I walked in front of planter while it was moving and flipped switch up and down. several times and got no response it just kept painting.

its more than likely just not calibrated right or got calibrated backwards.

+1. If not calibrated it will not work at all.

Check for continuity when tripped or not tripped between a and b at the switch. If there is there move to the ext Cable that connects to the module harness. Did you go through the switch calibration wizard?

In the settings for field IQ in the settings tab (before you load a field) there should be an option to calibrate implement switch.  It's super simple, it says raise the planter and hit okay, lower the planter and hit okay, and it will then know when the planter is up and down.  I'll bet this is your problem.
