Subject: Need help trouble shooting monitor cable-Kinze 3600- 20-20 monitor

WC Iowa- mostly river bottom
Have 1 row 20-20 monitor says is expected but not detected. Alarm for that row goes off when planting. There are 37 pins on the wiring harness that connects to the smart box. Which ones are the rows and what are the others? Precision book says 27 & 29 are power but 29 doesn't show any continuity with other pins. 28 is ground. Rows 1-9 and 11-16 show continuity with 27 & 28 but the other pins do not. according to precision trouble shooting instructions- these should not show continuity but common sense says they should- power and ground to the seed sensor and back. The failed row- 10- does not show continuity when the others 1-16 do. Have changed seed sensor-precision wave vision. No change. Also have plugged seed sensor from failed row into another row and it works. 2 year old planter, my old one was 15 years old and no problems like this. Hard to believe the wiring harness is bad and have to replace the whole thing.
