whitesville new york | From what I have been told I'd guess in the 3-4$ range just form plastic. Most custom guys want another 4-5$ for just wrapping. Ps The guys have different name for individual wrapping bales. Its not nice so I won't say it. I know individual wrapped bales have their place but I dout I will ever do any unless I bale a hand full of bales.

candor ny | Roll of wrap here is about 80 dollars wrap 4x4 24 times around and that puts them at three wraps so a little over three dollars a bale just for plastic at 24 bales a roll

Oxford County, ON | IF you use the good stretch wrap and IF you put the proper amount of plastic on the bale, you'll be in the ballpark of $4/bale for plastic alone.

whitesville new york | Tc thanks but not interested. I rent the neighbors inline wrapper for 2$ a bale and cost just under 2$ a bale for plastic. If I wanted to wrap some individually I could borrow another neighbors wrapper. They also rent a inline to wrap most of their hay. They figure the savings in plastic pays for it and it is a lot faster. The reason why we and others don't own a wrapper is because It would take 30+ years for pay back on a new inline wrapper and used ones are far and few and aren't much cheaper than a new one.

candor ny | Your getting a deal local place that rents one wanted 7 a bale Plus wrap for a inline so i borrow neighbors table one and wrapped individual. I lend him some equipment so its not a one way street but sure I owe him more then he owes me. We only did 200 or so for heifer last year so it was cheaper to buy the extra plastic

whitesville new york | Wow I think they supply a operator, wrapper and plastic for 7-9$. I would and will not let them touch a piece of my equipment. They have been doing for 10+ years and their wrapper has seen over 100,000 bales
