Subject: Re: Ether injector on tractor

South cental Ohio
I'm not trying to be a smartazz here but I was wondering something... I'm not an "engine builder" but I've rebuilt numerous engines over my years of bending wrenches and I'm wondering what's wrong with a sniff of ether in the air intake --- if in fact the engine isn't good enough to start on it's own? Any motor that I've rebuilt will fire right up below zero with no assist of anything because everything is right about it when I'm done with it. I guess what I'm saying is that I believe it's easier on an engine ( if i ever do use ether),to have the ether more diluted which is why I don't use an ether injector and just squirt it in the breather. Just my opinion, let's see what others say.
