CENTRAL ILLINIOS | agree with tyler. cons - hard to steer in soft conditions (rear wheels don't track behind front wheels as they come from the factory), visibility not great, clearance has become more an issue with RR corn. pros - allways ready to go, parts cheap and available, cover a fair number of acres when working alone (450 acres a day with 60' boom), nothing better for small scattered fields or to get a little more if you run out with a few acres to go, easy on fuel, sometimes handy to have another truck around. 7000 acres is going to be enough for a pickup sprayer unless it is spread out (some pre, some post, not all the same crop). | |
