| We used to run a pickup sprayer years ago, but got tired of being beat around. I am guessing that if you have to buy a heavy duty pick-up and sprayer, then you could buy a used self-propelled sprayer for around the same amount of money. There is no comparison between them. With 6-7K acres sprayed per year, look at a used spra-coupe or used Apache. Both will serve you well and are fairly easy to fix and keep going, they are both much better sprayers than any pick-up wil lever be. | |
