That sounds very macho, but I wouldn't want to have to live with the wrong decision if I had the choice of running over a car load of young kids that didn't know how to drive in bad conditions or the choice to swerve and end up in the ditch. Yes it would give you a black mark on your driving record. Maybe next time you'd think about parking it when conditions get that bad. But at least you'd go home to your family and some families would have their kids come home to them.
