The common issue with mine is the pressure regulator valve wears in the bore and allows the pressure to spike which breaks retaining snap rings and plates. That was one of the issues mine had and theer was an update to install apressure relief valve to prevent further issues.
There was also updated seals for the shell gear and others he installed.
