We have two Volvos one with a D12 and one with D13 have had good luck with these engines. With that said our Volvo dealer has said that the D16 engine hasn't been a great engine. Poor fuel economy and other issues. They said they wouldn't sell one again if someone wanted a big block they would do a Cummins.
