Subject: $$$$$ update!!!!

North Central Kansas
Holy crap I can not believe it.
If Valley is the John Deere of pivots, and Reinke is the crap end...then why is Reinke so over priced?
by that look at this.....:

With a Valley System we would use:

1 x 185' 6 5/8" Galvanized Spans
6 x 180' 6 5/8" Galvanized Spans
27' 6 5/8" Galvanized Overhang (End Boom)
Total 1292' Same as Reinke's design.

We would use an electronic panel that would allow for you to go into a stop at 1 speed and exit the stop at a different speed. This would prevent overwatering at either stop location.

The system could be nozzled to match your well's G.P.M. and P.S.I.

The current estimate for underground is as follows:

8" 80# P.V.C. $2.65 per ft.
#4 Alum Power Wire $1.00 per ft.
12-2 Well Kill Wire $ .46 per ft.
Trenching & Installation $1.50 per ft.
Misc (Valves - Air Relief) $ .20 per ft.
TOTAL $5.81 PER FT

Pivot with Electronic Panel; End of Field Stop & Barricades; Booster Pump & Big End Gun; Freight & Erection. Total $67,288.00

Reinke was $1. more per foot for ground work, but $288 less for the pivot

What is wrong here? What am I missing?
