no problem with 5.5 box if 5th wheel has an extended bolt on hitch attahment pin to not hit cab on turns
that is with your fifth wheel pin hole directly above your drive axle, other wise you can get a sliding 5th wheel, but still should have extended hitch to get correct ride and weight on front steerig and driveaxle
