NE KS | I've got a 2001 with a 5.4 and thats the about what I average. 8mpg if i'm pulling a lot with it. My brother has an 08 and he ususally is around 13 according to the dash. Our 7.3 averages 15-16 mpg. Wait till you drive a 6.4 L powerstroke, My f-350 only averages around 10 (It's usually only used for pulling a trailer). One tip about changing the spark plugs. make sure you tighten them up pretty snug. I had the dealership change mine and I've had 4 out of the 8 shoot out of the head. poor design. That the only thing I've had go wrong with my truck. The clock reads 260k and still ticking. | |
