Didn't JD build chassis for Winnebago in the early '80s? I don't think they were using JD engines though.
A bunch of years ago (25?) at one of the JD days, the GMC van-truck from JD that delivered the JD Day stuff had a JD 466 engine in it. It was announced as a prototype. Never saw it again.
It was Coachman motor homes I think. The dealer we bought equipment from back in the 80's also sold motor homes. The store was bought out by a multi store dealer and was closed a few years back and I'm pretty sure the Coachman sign was still leaning against a the back wall of one of the storage buildings.
