Maryland | Which ones do you have? 2011 and 2012 planters had an adjustable sensitivity sensor that often time did not read well at the default setting. Adjusting this setting does a lot for the accuracy of these sensors.
I have the crappy ones the tell you seed is dropping everytime the wind blows or it gets a little dusty. No adjustment on these. Just the option to remove and throw in the trash.
You have a 3660, right? Engage your hydraulic drive, and use your seed meter prime.
3660 Yes. I do use the seed meter prime. Ground speed is through the GPS. Seed doesnt drop until I am moving. I have to have the front units at the edge of the field to get the rear ones to drop seed at the edge.
ISOBUS is just for the data connection between the tractor, display, and implement. The display's connection to the GPS receiver is not on the ISOBUS. AFAIK, it was never intended to be.
This is the first year for ISOBUS with Kinze. I still cringe everytime I hear someone talking about it say "Plug and Play" (*shudder*)
The 750 statement was a different comment. I guess I should have somehow separated the two sentences a little better. I was just trying to say the same as you. If the planter is ISOBUS it is supposed to work with his monitor.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. Didn't mean to mislead anyone.
Nice having people on here that work on these machines and probably see more problems than I ever care to!
