Floyd County, Iowa | Have several B&S motors, 5hp to 29hp, ages 1 to 15 years old, and have no trouble with any of them. At end of each season, I give them a shot of Sea Foam, run a while and shut off. Never have trouble at beginning of next season.
Should tell that I only use reg no-lead. I don't use ethanol in my small engines, or Merc 4 stroke outboard motor. Yeah, I know, this is probably going to get the ethanol police all riled up, but the small engine dealers say not to use it, so I don't. Maybe they're right??? At my day job, we use ethanol in everything (co-op elevator), and have trouble with ALL small engines on transfer pumps and the 2 stroke 4 wheeler ATVs.
