Subject: Freeing up and removing a bolt from a double bushing...

NECIL
I am trying to take the linkage arms off of the Strip-Cat to replace the bushings. It has a Teflon bushing with a steel bushing around the bolt. I have 2 row units that I can't get the bolts out of. I put the impact on the bolt and it spins free but still won't come out even when you pound on it with big hammer. The linkage arm is in between two 1/2 inch plates that make up the row unit. So the bolt is locking the arm on there. Tried some heat on the bolt but don't want to get to carried away with the heat. The bolt is a grade 8 and I was wondering if a sawzall blade would cut it. There's enough room that I can get in there with one if it would cut it. Otherwise I'm thinking more heat may have to be used.
