I'm looking to put together a single shank ripper that can go up to 30 inches deep.  We need to plow in perimiter wire for 8 corner systems and our ground is so hard and dry that the installers have all but given up until spring.  One guy did get one put in yesterday after he had pre ripped along the path.  The installer said it went in easy after that.  Does anybody have any recommendations for shank type and where I might get one.  My welder can probably get one put together next week if we can find a shank.  I plan on pulling it with a Magnum 290 and have resigned to possible having to make two trips around the field.
