NECIL
+2 on AJ being an idiot. We don't farm for the fun if it. Nor do we farm to lose money. He sounds like so many that have this days gone by idea about farming. They want to take us back 30 years. I'd like to see how they plan on feeding today's population on 1970s style agriculture. I've been around hogs my entire life and seen just about every type of housing system. Confinement with gestation stalls and farrowing crates are the most efficient and the safest for us and them. Sure they're efficient but so are so many other things that American businesses do. The name of the game is making money to keep your operation opereational supplying food for the world, jobs for your employees and to support your family. I view it as very humane.

I guess from the extreme liberal point of view nobody should do anything to make money. Heaven for bid a person to think about doing things in a safe, humane, efficient and profitable manner.
