Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I tend to agree with the above post about someone possibly substituting a 440 for a 450 in your sprayer.
The wiring pattern for a 450 is the same as a 440 but of course has the extra pins and wires for Booms 4-6. This means that a 450 can be used in place of a 440 without any problems since the orginal layout would have had at most 3 sections.
A 440 can be used in place of a 450 but would not be able to control Booms 4-6 if present (they are in your case).
Both harnesess will have a Black, Brown and Blue wire for Booms 1 -3. The 450 will also have a Black with white strip, a Brown with white strip and a Blue with white strip for Booms 4-6.
If your harness has the wires with the white strips then it was used with a 450 before.
Both harneses will have a Green/yellow pair for flow control, a white for ground and a Coax cable for the flowmeter. The 450 cable will also have a red wire in it for power if needed. |
