Subject: Re: strange soil test results

What are the moisture, temp, and growing conditions when the sample was taken compared to last 2 seasons. Post drought soils may need a longer than normal stabilization time. Variation in capillary water action can vary what is left on top. Could be a sampling effect also. I've heard some soil a full 1 unit pH variance can occur during a season. Did the base saturations on the soil test change? I would worry more if they did than if PH fluctuates.
