I don't know what you make and really don't care.  But how would you like it if you made $100,000 per year and had been paying taxes of $20,000 per year.  Then next year Uncle Sam comes along and said they were going to raise your taxes to $30,000 per year.  But if you didn't want to pay the extra $10,000 per year all you had to do was go see a lawyer on one of your days off and pay him a $1,000 and he could get you out of paying that extra $10,000.  I bet you would not be a happy camper.  That's how I feel about me paying a lawyer to avoid a tax that should not be collected in the first place.
