Faunsdale, AL | PTO adapters can get you by in a pinch and allow you to use a larger tractor running at lower, more efficient rpm. I don't think either of those pieces of equipment will be a problem to run with an adapter from a power standpoint.
The additional length can really screw up the drive line geometry that is designed into a quality piece of equipment to make it run smooth while turning. Some equipment doesn't run smooth when you turn anyway or if you're cautious, and don't turn sharply, you can make it work.
Depending on the style of adapter, you should check any bolts or setscrews frequently for the first few minutes you run one. | |
