Subject: Another bunk feeder is born

WC Illinois
This was my project for the day. You probably see the concrete bunk (that came with the farm) in the background that I have been using but I thought a fence line bunk may work better for me. I plan on using it to feed my 10 feeders ground ear corn out of the bulk bin with 5gal buckets. I built it out of stuff we already had, kind of designed it around the dual wall tile cores (the kind that come with 8"+ tile) cut in half that I used for the bottom. Its not quite operational yet, the 1 x 6 above where the cows stick their heads through needs to be replaced with some metal pipe (stronger) I need to buy. Right now the opening is only 14" but I am aiming for 16" (I think thats Stock Talk Approved) once I can get the pipe. Hopefully it will work fine, but I am learning as I go so feel free to point out what I did wrong.
