Your truck uses class 2 communication for its functions the switch dose not carry any load. Your switch that you have disassembled is a small computer( for lack of a better term). It translates your selection into a digital signal and talks to the door module in the front right door. That has the solid circuit relay to send power to where it needs to go. So from what you have described it is likely to be the driver switch. But with out a gm scan tool that is able to communicate with the body control module on the GM lan network your just guessing. I would suggest that you get the price of the switch and compare the cost of diagnose at a dealer and then decide if you want to gamble on the repair. DO NOT TAKE A TEST LIGHT TO THE SWITCH YOU WILL BE REPLACING THEN FOR SURE.
